In 2005, Hank and Bonnie Steele moved to the magical Coachella Valley for what Hank thought would be his retirement to a life of golf, service to important causes and reading all the bestsellers while they were still fresh on the list.

Meanwhile, Bonnie got busy putting her past experience as an agent/broker in the New York City/Connecticut suburban real estate market together with her background in design, marketing and public relations to work right away to build a new “constituency” and business here in the Coachella Valley.  She has over 20 years in fundraising, donor, volunteer and alumni relations plus 15 in the real estate industry.  

Who knew?

As Bonnie’s real estate business grew, Hank couldn’t resist the challenge of assisting her on her marketing and public relations efforts . . .  there is a limit to how much golf he could play, he discovered.  Since then, Hank has been designing and executing the marketing programs and handling day-to-day site management of their listings, as well as supporting aspects of the sales process for buyers.  He’s played a critical active role in keeping their “White Glove Service” promise to clients and customers.  Their efforts have paid off and business continues to grow. To meet their expanding needs, which require licensed Realtor credentials, Hank earned his California Real Estate license this spring and is now able to offer the full-range of services. 

Luck is when opportunity meets preparation

Hank comes to this role well-acquainted with the industry.  As part of his successful career in public relations and marketing – Johns Hopkins University, The Smithsonian Institution, San Diego State University and several national and regional consulting firms -- he also had a lucrative career as a Realtor/trainer and investor in Westchester County, NY, and in the Golden Isles of GA – Jekyll Island, St. Simons Island and Sea Island.
